A sort of journey through time, smells, flavours, structure, furniture that take you back to times gone by, to when in the countryside we ate homemade and hand-sliced ham, wild boar sausages, meat cooked using the old method, hand-made tables hand, an Osteria with a capital O, coffee in mocha, vin Santo tozzetti, homemade ravioli with guinea fowl ragù, bruschetta with patè made by them, in short from cold cuts to first and second courses as it was used in the past, when everything it was more beautiful, renowned wines of excellent quality, impeccable service with a mixed note between friendliness and professionalism. Recommended for those who want to savor the true flavor of our nation, of the hinterland. I absolutely have to go back.

Fante di Coppe is a tavern restaurant that offers a unique and unforgettable culinary experience. Tuscan cuisine is enhanced by the mastery of the talented chef Pierpaolo who uses only fresh, quality ingredients to create traditional dishes and more. The menu ranges from the classic "chianina" cuts to the famous Florentine steaks, to the excellent hand-rolled pasta ravioli stuffed with guinea fowl, cherry tomatoes and rosemary. But some of the delicacies I tasted during my visit were the sublime ham cut strictly by hand accompanied with excellent pickles and mature cheese and the tasty sliced meat with Colonnata lard which was simply spectacular. The wine list is very extensive, with a vast selection of wines from Chianti and Tuscany and beyond. The location is welcoming and rustic, with a warm and familiar atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the food. Table service is impeccable, with friendly staff attentive to customer needs. Fante di Coppe is the ideal place for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends, and I highly recommend trying this restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience. Excellent Tuscan restaurant with Marche influence. The environment is very homely and welcoming with the owners and waitress who will make you feel at ease as soon as you enter. We had as a starter a bruschetta with lard and cheese, a pappardella with ragù, a truffle fondue and a stew sautéed in the oven which was spectacular. For dessert I opted for a sample of top quality hand-cut raw ham. Reasonable price and right portions. I recommend it to everyone, especially to those who want to try quality cuisine with first choice ingredients.

I went to this "tavern" with my parents a few evenings ago, encouraged by the desire for meat and the good reviews of the place. Unfortunately the dinner did not live up to expectations. We find ourselves in a very nice and welcoming place, I would define it as a bit minimalist. Once seated we browse the menu and the first thing that slightly surprises me is that the prices are like (if not higher than) a restaurant; there is no house wine; positive is the fact that the water served costs one euro. We order two glasses of wine, a water, an appetizer, some strips of beef, two portions of roast potatoes and two slices of beef, the latter really scarce, especially considering the price (€20). The entire right side of both cuts was made up of sinews only, while the rest (and consider that FOR ME it was one of the smallest cuts I have ever seen) was really tough to the bite, and was medium cooked. After finishing, at least 10 minutes passed before our plates were taken away, and I would like to point out that the waitress passed by us at least three times, and the table situation wasn't very busy. The coffee offered is certainly a positive note, although honestly, I haven't tasted coffee made by the moka in a long time, given that it can also be spread over the course of the evening. In any case, I found the price exorbitant for how I ate it, since the meat, as mentioned, was not up to expectations and the price. I left the restaurant dissatisfied, especially knowing that during my stay in the Marche I ate better meat (and drank more) while spending much, much less.
